We had a rather large party and opted for sitting outside taking up two full tables with 16 people.
I didn't think the kitchen would be able to serve us all at the same time... I was pleasantly surprised to see my pork shoulder with blue cabbage, and potato dumplings arrive with every one else's meals.
I'm missing that pork shoulder with the dark glistening gravy... I need to reproduce this at home.
Next time I travel to Germany, I'm taking my wife and we are going to eat at the Wirtshaus.
Don't pass this up if you are in Wurtzburg.
Great service, especially by Toni who could tell straight away that we only spoke English. Don’t know how! She was very helpful and patient. Fabulous food (roast pork and Wiener schnitzel) served quickly. Just go!
busy place with superb food! portion is definitely too big for small-eater like us. but overall, great ambience and service :)
This palace was very warm and cozy contrary to typical beet garden restaurants in Munich. We had lunch here when visiting Würzburg. Food and service both super nice. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting area. They also have parking nearby.
Nice atmosphere, great service and good food! Enjoyed a good meal in the afternoon during Christmas. Kaiserschmarrn is a must - it’s incredible!
Excellent restaurant! We ate very tasty german food with a twist. Also the desserts were super yummy. The whole place is huge and very cozy and the staff is really nice. I would recomend a reservation. The restaurant is just 2 min of walk from rezidence
We had a lovely Christmas lunch at Wirtshaus am Dom. Food was top notch as we're all staff. Highly recommend.
That's a place I like to find. Modern, typical local food, very good service and it's still cosy even when full. Ben careful, the starter named "Frankishe Bruskedda" is quite a good portion. They have the whole variation of the "Distelhauser" brewery and propose as well the winterbock, a seasonal beer. Centrally located, kitchen open during all day, it's as well a place to just enjoy a drink.
